agree completely Bryn

Used badly an IWB is a poor educational tool, as is a laptop or a pencil.

To me an IWB is just a part of the educational puzzle not a  
replacement for other parts.

There seems to be a common misconception that teachers who use IWBs  
don't use other technology in their rooms. I believe that in a "good"  
classroom exactly the opposite is true. IWBs don't replacement other  
technology use but rather enhance it.

It would appear than many people still just don't get it . . . .

And when schools that are getting inspired by IWB use are only offered  
Dell as an option well . . . . .

Ignoring IWBs is akin to ignoring the horseless carriage.
