Just a few thoughts on software for IWBs and the creation of teaching resources.

We are in the age of digital imagery.
Kids brains are increasingly wired to learn from video (eg You Tube) and interactive gaming.

I'm not an expert on IWB software (We mostly use Kid Pix and iLife on ours), but it seems to me much software is more suited to corporate presentations to the non digital native who still go Wow! at seeing a chart flip, or see handwriting converted to text.

To me the beauty of the IWB is kids themselves using the board, rather than the teacher expository side of things.
That's why they work so well for the early tactile years of school.
