[Maced] Farewell and Merry Christmas to All

I realise this post is not correct protocol but I would like to say  
thanks to the list for the assistance, support and the camaraderie  
that I have had from all of you out there.  I have found that the  
maced list has a different ethos to most others and the caring  
sharing attitude of its members is a refreshing.  Although not a big  
user of the list I lurk a lot and I have learned a huge amount from  
its contributors.
I retire from Teaching next May but am taking leave till then so this  
is really my last week in the job.  I have been a CC since 1992 and  
was actually appointed as Computer Coordinator to this school - a  
rare slip of the classifications.
I would like to continue lurking if the list permits as I still have  
an interest in the use of IT in Education and will watch with  
interest the implementation of Labour's new policies.  A special  
thanks to Martin for his maintenance of the list and to everyone, a  
very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.
