If Optus and Virgin = bad coverage then don't even bother with 3.  
Three only has 3G in capital cities, outside this you are roaming on  
the telstra GSM network (ie not even 3G) and you pay a huge rate for  
roaming data which isnt included in your data pack. 3 has great  
deals...if you never leave their 3G city network.
