[Maced] Boot from a USB stick

I've got one of them (old ipod) it's a 4thg 40g & I have the Fwire cable.
Knew it would come in handy one day
 
I'll have a go with that. Might have a few more questions yet tho'

I think only intels can boot from usb.  PPC -- firewire,CD HDD and network
only.

maybe a old ipod with a firewire cable?
