[Maced] music skips in IDVD slideshow

Hello all,
I am trying to make some slideshows of photos  for Year 6 in IDVD.  
The music skips or is jerky every time i try. In preview it seems ok.  
but when i burn the DVD is happens for every slideshow.  I have  
already reduced the photos  to less than a MB and there are no more  
than 100 photos per slideshow.
Does aNY One have any other suggestions?
