[Maced] Alternatives to Google Docs ???

I'm trying to upload a draft curriculum document (in Microsoft Word)  
to Google Docs so that colleagues can edit it, but am being stymied by  
the document being over the 500 K limit.

Are there alternatives that have a healthier document size? (The  
document in question is 2.7 MB.)
