Hi Kel,
If you have a dedicated Linux or Apple server, have a looksee at
Wordpress? It would probably require the help of IT to setup initially,
but once done, user/comment/post maintenance is all web based.
Alternatively, wordpress.org or wikispaces.com might be an option.
If you wish to keep to an email format, you can find services online
that use 'mailman'. You can maintain mailing lists and archives online.

Subject: [Maced] Which tool to use? blog? wiki?
I want to set up a web based group area where people within the group
can contribute by adding a post and also add comments others postings.
I wanted to go beyond just an email group so all posting and comments
are archived and remain visible.
My first thought was a blog with multiple contribute rights. I was
trying to set that up through edublogs but the process was getting way
too complicated.
This needs to be a simple solution for people with low IT tolerance.
Any ideas?
thanks
Kel
