[Maced] Are all RAM chips the same

The truth is NOT all RAM chips are the same. Many fail the "high end
tests" and are flogged cheap ("Super Special - Lifetime warranty - Why
spend $$$?). Most folk will never have problems however it can happen
a few years down the track (with weird errors).
From memory there are 3 levels of quality (this is also with the hard
drive industry). Most resellers would have no idea (except for their
purchase price!!) of what quality it is. Is it a manufacturers
warranty they give or "their own"? Many don't get a manufacturers
warranty (unless dead on arrival) so the reseller just "wears it"
should one fail after the set time.
Naturally, most folk have pushed their Mac's on to someone else long
after any one can remember who the chips came from.
