[Maced] Apple TV

Hi Guys
Wondering if anyone has installed an Apple TV into their network. We  
are setting a Plasma TV up with Apple TV attached to display student  
work samples and promotional material. I have plugged the A TV into  
the network via ethernet cable, have tried a static IP address. I need  
to have it synched to an iMac that I control for content but not sure  
how to get iTunes to pick it up. iTunes version is up to date 7.6.1  
and in the preferences under Apple TV nothing is appearing in the  
list, iMac is running 10.5.2. Have tried both the synch option and  
direct iTunes library connection on the A TV.
Wonder if anyone has done this successfully or can give me some  
pointers?
