[Maced] Buying a Digital Camera

Our school are looking at purchasing 15 Canon A460 digital cameras.  
After much searching I managed to find the only supplier of digital  
cameras that is on contract is Alderson Camera Stores Pty Ltd T/A  
Foto Riesel (there was one other but that is Panasonic and they don't  
sell Canon cameras). If there are others that I have missed please  
let me know. They have the item priced at $129.80 (inc GST). A simple  
search on the net found 8 Australian suppliers with prices below this  
($118 to $126.06). This equates to a difference of $177 when  
purchasing all 15.
Just a couple of questions.
Do we have to buy from the contract item and pay the extra or is it  
possible to go for the cheaper options?
Does anyone know what benefits do we get from buying the contract item?
