[Maced] NSWDET rollout

All questions of the Moment, Ian,

My order's in and ... waiting, waiting, waiting.

Beyond OASIS, we're a Mac school, Server to client.

The new principal has appreciated my ordering him a PC notebook [1.
to use a legitimate unit that I would otherwise forfeit but, 2.
because DET info at Principal's meetings are now exclusively in PC
formats with, "sorry, I can't help you with Mac solutions" trite
answers.]

The leverage points remain IMHO:

I don't do virus checking in my RFF – I teach children from the KLA
curriculum using ICTs.
I have creative open-ended software that PCs don't have that meet KLA
outcomes.
I have computers that are user friendly to students and teachers.
The internet is platform independent unless bureaucrats deliberately
close it off.

Does this help?
