<div>Hi Richard,</div><div><br></div><div>Can't say I've seen it myself.. Do the icons appear different anywhere else in the system?</div><div><br></div>I'd be trashing the com.apple.dock.plist file from her ~/Library/Preferences file first of all (this will reset the Dock to Apple defaults). Suggest an installation of all available Software Updates until there are none and a Repair Permissions in Disk Utility to begin with as well.<br>

<br>Hi all<div>Haven't seen this before. A teacher said the icons in the dock appear as "computer disks" and will not open. After a few restarts the dock is normal and all operates fine. This occurs on a regular basis, she is getting tired of the restarts. The computer is 3 years old so only guessing probably 10.3. Will check with her tomorrow.</div>
<div>Any one seen this occur before, and any ideas for a solution.</div><div>Thanks<div class="Ih2E3d"><br><div> <p style="margin:0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px"><font face="Helvetica" size="3" style="font:12.0px Helvetica">Richard Evans</font></p>
