Hi David<br><br>eMac 700Mhz video: GeForce 2 MX with 32 MB of dedicated DDR SDRAM<br>Up to 1280 by 960 @ 72Hz<br><br>Common <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_resolution" title="Display resolution">display resolutions</a> for a portable projector include <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SVGA" class="mw-redirect" title="SVGA">SVGA</a> (800×600 <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel" title="Pixel">pixels</a>), <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XGA" title="XGA">XGA</a> (1024×768 pixels), <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/720p" title="720p">720p</a> (1280×720 pixels), and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1080p" title="1080p">1080p</a> (1920×1080 pixels).<br><br>I recently found out that some projectors use a very specific table of input values, whereas others (even similar models within the same brand eg BenQ) seem to have a greater range of tolerances.<br>We have a projector which will work with MacBookPros, but not MacBooks.<br>As far as I
can work out, video cards have small actual variance to the stated outputs.<br>The problem may be that the eMac does not have the right combination of reolution and refresh rate for the projector.<br><br><br>Can you try swapping the projector for an older one?<br><br>Cheers<br><br>Dave<br><br><b><i>David Moyle <moyle.david@cathednet.wa.edu.au></i></b> wrote:<blockquote class="replbq" style="border-left: 2px solid rgb(16, 16, 255); margin-left: 5px; padding-left: 5px;"> Hey all!<div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>Long time!</div><div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>Recently we had a new roof-mounted projector installed an a previous ICT Lab.
